OKX Wallet Tracker Crypto is an unofficial, read-only browser extension for checking the public SOL balance of Solana wallet addresses entered by the user. This Privacy Policy describes the data handling implemented in the extension source code.

Information the extension handles

The extension handles the public Solana wallet addresses that a user enters for balance lookup or chooses to save as tracked wallets. A public wallet address is blockchain information and is not a private key, seed phrase, password, or authentication credential.

The extension does not request, collect, store, or transmit seed phrases, private keys, passwords, payment information, names, email addresses, account credentials, or other personal profile information.

Local storage

Tracked public wallet addresses are stored locally in the browser using the browser's local storage API. This storage is used only so that saved addresses remain available when the extension is reopened. The extension does not upload the saved list to a developer-operated server or database.

Blockchain RPC requests

When a user enters a valid Solana address or refreshes a tracked wallet, the extension sends a read-only JSON-RPC request to the Solana mainnet endpoint at https://api.mainnet-beta.solana.com/. The request is used to retrieve the public SOL balance for the entered address. The extension does not create, sign, or broadcast transactions.

The Solana RPC service may process technical request information according to its own policies. Users should review the service provider's terms and privacy practices when using public RPC infrastructure.

Permissions

The extension requests the browser storage permission to save tracked public addresses locally. It requests host access only to the Solana mainnet RPC endpoint so it can retrieve public balance information.

Analytics and tracking

The extension source code does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, cookies, telemetry, remote scripts, or developer-operated tracking services.

Data retention and deletion

Saved public addresses remain in the browser until the user removes them through the extension or clears the extension's stored data. Removing a wallet from the extension deletes it from the extension's local tracked-wallet list.

Children's privacy

The extension is not designed to collect personal information from children or from any other user.

Changes to this policy

If the extension's data practices change, this Privacy Policy should be updated before the changed version is distributed.
